Discover Your Path to Wellbeing…
About Me
I began my career as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, specializing in diabetes education and then eating disorders. Along the way, I discovered how food, our emotional world, and our relationships can be deeply interconnected and influence each other in complex ways. This passion led me to become a Marriage and Family Therapist, where I focus on helping individuals, couples, and families navigate challenges like depression, anxiety, body image concerns, eating disorders and the struggles of “Am I good enough?”—a theme I’ve wrestled with in my own life as well.
Like many of my clients, I’ve had my own battles with self-doubt and being comfortable with vulnerability. I am remarried with two wonderful adult sons and an entertaining stepson who keep life real, amusing, and meaningful. Life with a blended family has given me both challenges and gifts that shape the way I am able to authentically connect with others and quietly hold space for the stories and struggles each person carries.
When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me hanging out with family and friends, playing pickleball, riding my bike, walking in nature, or cooking something (hopefully) delicious. These activities keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of finding balance and joy in daily life.
I understand the courage it takes to seek help and the importance of truly feeling seen and heard, and I endeavor to bring authenticity, compassion, and a sense of peace to my work. As a Type Nine on the Enneagram (the Peacemaker), I am naturally drawn to fostering harmony and helping others discover their strengths, challenge critical narratives and empower clients to grow into their whole self.
Supporting you in nourishing your mind, body, and spirit where your whole self can heal.
